Richard Culver | LPC-MH, LAC, NCC, QMHP
The stories we tell ourselves have power. They shape how we see the world, how we love, and how we make sense of our pain. Many of us carry stories written in survival—stories built from anxiety, loss, or trauma—that quietly guide our choices and keep us from feeling whole. My work is about helping you understand those patterns through the lens of your brain, your body, and your lived experience, so you can begin to write something new.
Therapy with me is not about fixing what’s “broken.” It’s about rediscovering what has always been there: your capacity for connection, courage, and clarity. Using a blend of neuroscience and narrative understanding, we’ll explore how your mind has learned to protect you—and how it can now learn to help you grow. My goal is to help you feel grounded in your story, not defined by it, and to walk with you as you reclaim a sense of calm, meaning, and agency in your life.
