At Narrative Restoration Counseling, I provide specialized mental health services for adults seeking healing, growth, and insight into the patterns that shape their lives. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-identity struggles, attachment challenges, anger, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, and other emotional or relational concerns. I also provide targeted support for men’s well-being, helping individuals explore and strengthen personal resilience, emotional awareness, and healthy self-expression. Additionally, I offer relationship education and coaching for individuals and couples, focusing on skills, communication, and understanding rather than direct clinical processing.

My work is grounded in a neuroscience-informed, narrative-based approach. I believe that the stories we tell ourselves profoundly influence how we think, feel, and act—and that understanding these stories within the context of the brain and body opens the door to meaningful change. By integrating narrative therapy, trauma-informed care, and brain-based interventions, I help clients uncover how their past experiences shape present patterns, identify sources of emotional and behavioral dysregulation, and develop skills to foster greater agency, resilience, and well-being. My approach is collaborative and personalized, ensuring each client receives interventions that are both effective and meaningful.

I utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), somatic-based interventions, mindfulness practices, and other integrative techniques. These interventions are selected to address both the emotional and physiological components of trauma and stress, supporting clients in moving from reactivity to regulation, from avoidance to awareness, and from feeling stuck to experiencing growth. My goal is to help individuals not only manage symptoms but also cultivate lasting insight, self-compassion, and functional change that extends beyond the therapy room.

In addition to individual therapy, I offer educational workshops, professional consultation, and clinical supervision for mental health professionals and members of the broader community. These services focus on practical skills, trauma-informed approaches, neuroscience-based strategies, and narrative frameworks, providing tools and insight to support both personal development and professional practice.

Building a strong therapeutic relationship is central to all aspects of my work. I strive to create a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore the stories that have shaped their lives, understand how their brains and bodies respond to stress and emotion, and practice new ways of relating to themselves and others. My aim is to help each client achieve their desired level of personal fulfillment, emotional regulation, and relational health, equipping them with the understanding and skills to continue growing long after therapy concludes.
